Bitches & Bathrooms

What do you all think of your first impressions? Are they usually right?

I tend to be pretty cautious when it comes to people at work when they are new. I've been working in the same place for about six years and it has a pretty high turn over rate. A lot of people come and go. Which means a lot of "making friends" and "making nice" in some cases when the friends idea just isn't going to work. Then of course there are some people that I just stick my ear buds in my ears so I can drown them out because they are so stinking annoying.

There are some people that I work with that just give me a bit of an off vibe. Like I should just be a little more cautious about what I say around them. There are the gossipers, which really they don't bother me all that much. I'm really an open book. But then there are some back stabbers, and THOSE, those are the ones that make me hurt.

Not that anyone has stabbed me lately but I was reminded today that they are there, and that I need to remember that they are NOT my friends.

On a lighter note, I'm freaking tired! I worked my ass off today at the gym. Tuesdays are trainer days and she had me do 50 reps on the row of weight machines. 50 reps is a lot! When we were done with the machines I did 50 leg lifts on this big stand up thing that you hang from your arms and then 50 crunches on the big stability ball.

Since I was there I did the Cross Ramp machine for 35 minutes and then when I got home I did my 30 day shred video. I attempted to help Trevor with homework after that but I'm so damn tired and bitchy Scott offered to take over and I let him. Thank you!

Here's a pic of me today wearing one of my $2 pairs of jeans from Goodwill. (size 7) They fit pretty good although they have no front pockets. I can't tell you how many times I tried to put my phone in that pocket that wasn't there today.

The shirt I'm wearing was super fitted when I bought it. Now it hangs pretty good. I have several of them (boyfriend t shirt from Target) and have now been buying the next size down (Mediums woot!)

Don't look at my hair it looks like shit. I need to get it cut. The last cut was horrible! Guess I'll go back to the other gal that at least knew how to get the layers right even though the bottom was never quite straight. I'll just have to double check it before I leave. The curse of curly hair I guess.

Yes that's the bathroom at work, complete with the tampon/pad dispenser (that is not filled anymore, great for emergencies) . I need to get my bedroom cleaned up so I can take a picture in my full length mirrors without piles of crap all over in the background. One of these days..

Lets all pray that the extra .4 is gone on the scale tomorrow, it was still there today.

You're looking fabulous.

My first impressions have always been correct. Sometimes i don't listen to my inner voice and get burned....then i remember that my first impression is never wrong and try not to do that again.

First of all.. you look amazing!~

Second... first impressions always work for me... if I get a bad vibe I always believe it. It has never failed me... I can sum up a person very quickly usually.
