Time Alone..

It's pretty amazing how I can be so tired when I've done almost nothing all day. I'm sure that has something to do with waking up all night long and eating too much unhealthy food. One of these days I'll get back on track.

This morning started with me getting up before my alarm to go to the bathroom, but I still had an hour so I went back to bed. Scott got up and got ready for work and I was waiting for him to leave so I could get in the shower. He leaves and then someone is in the bathroom. Someone finally gets out of the bathroom but then Trevor now has to take a shower. Trevor gets out of the shower and I've got like 20 minutes to get ready so I may have put my make up on in the car at work.

He's decided to drop his 0 period class (Thank you!) since he's not actually playing an instrument in "Jazz Band", not quite sure how they worked that out. Apparently half the class is now music appreciation or something. He can appreciate some music at home and save me an extra 26 miles of driving in the morning. Now hopefully the class gets dropped correctly. He's been to see the counselor and emailed the teacher so I'd say it's in their court. Hopefully I won't have to do anything. Trying to get these kids to be self sufficient at some point.

It's interesting listening to the girl at work talk about her daughter who is in her 2nd year of college calling her and freaking out because her zit on her face won't stop bleeding. Really? So you're like almost 20 and can't figure out how to apply pressure? Sheesh.

We are getting closer to the deadline at work but I'm still only having about a few hours worth of work. We are down a couple employees for the "planners" and so there is like 3 people doing all the work on the "other side".  Personally I think the one girl should be fired since she hardly ever comes to work anymore. Not sure how she is getting away with that. Hopefully she finds a new job soon and quits so they can hire someone to replace her.  How many weeks in a row can you do one day of sick leave, a vacation day and "teleworking". I'd take a 2 day work week too!

When I got home from work there was no extra cars so I was thinking just Trevor was home. He was actually still at school and getting picked up by Jessica. Jessica's guy friend was still here though so I still wasn't alone even though he didn't come out of the bedroom. I have only been home alone for like 2 hours in months. I could really use a good 6 hours with everyone gone so I can clean without anyone being here.

I washed a ton of dishes and made dinner, cooking up all the fresh veggies that were in the fridge so they don't go bad. Funny how all the junk food is gone but we've got broccoli! Now to wash the remaining dishes to have a clean counter and sink for about 5 minutes.

I'm about ready to move out and leave everyone behind...

Oh and just remembered one other thing from Bunco yesterday (didn't win anything but had fun). One gal who's husband has been having a bunch of strokes that they apparently can't figure out. This guy is quite the piece of work. One of those that only works long enough to get unemployment and then has an affair with the neighbor girl on the other side of the fence. She was talking about being at the hospital with him and all I could think is now you're going to get stuck taking care of this man who didn't even have any respect for you. Sucks.

1. it's nice of you to allow her boyfriend to stay and in her room.
2. I used to feel badly for women like that but they make the choice don't they? I would have kicked him to the curb. How do they pay for medical expenses if he doesn't work long enough to get them?
3. You should run away for a couple of days and see what they do without you. :-) That would be interesting, like those ladies you see on TV.
I only have 1 dog and 1 big guy and I know how much I am doing, I can't imagine what all you do with 3 grown children(boyfriend) and hubby and animals. You're da bomb Julie

Congrats to you for heading them in the direction of self-sufficiency. I swear, parents today are such "good friends" with their kids it's like they want them to need them around or need their advice! Crazy! What happened to raising kids that could fend for themselves?!?! That story is interesting about the man with the strokes...good insight for where I NEVER want to be! Crazy women and soooo sad so chose to be stuck with him - UGH!!!
Sorry you did not win bunco but at least you had fun with friends!!! That is such a necessary night out!
