I fear for everyone else on the road, not him. lol I'm not opposed to postponing his driving age if I don't feel that he's ready. Good luck with your teen driver!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my guest post at Seven Clown Circus last week (http://sevenclowncircus.com/2010/06/guest-post-2.html). I know this is really late, but I still wanted to stop by and say thank you.

Kristi, Live and Love...Out Loud
@TweetingMamaKristi {at} Live and Love...Out Loudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03690301218425965735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2279667973137452461.post-24923545401981846982010-06-13T15:40:32.369-07:002010-06-13T15:40:32.369-07:00Kids and cars are scary!

Years ago when my kids were small (youngest was only about a month old) I was stopped to make a left turn and a delivery van came flying up behind me and....didn't stop. Both kids were in the backseat. I was thankfully driving a big old oceanliner of a car that I hated, but the husband and talked me into because the van FLATTENED the car right up to the very back of the backseat. Pretty sure I got at least 10 years of my life scared off that day. The other driver? Got fired over it.Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06316595488903619354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2279667973137452461.post-28468136469573640322010-06-11T05:22:59.509-07:002010-06-11T05:22:59.509-07:00I've been in minor fender benders, but one whe...I've been in minor fender benders, but one where a guy hit me while we were on ice and I almost killed a lady but barely missed her. It wasn't my fault and it was scary.

My mom was never worried about me driving it was always the other drivers. I mean every day- how many times do you slap on your brakes because people don't know the road laws? But my parents always said- that if I total my car, I'm done. If I get a speeding ticket, I'm done. If I get any kind of moving violation, I'm done. And by being done- it meant that I no longer drove and they didn't drive me. Public bus and/or walking. Shameful. ;)Sara Strandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02641499434694637445noreply@blogger.com
