Paddling Around Our Lake

The day after the big graduation party I just wanted to lay around and read blogs and be lazy. 

So of course, the power went out.

Gee thanks! 

My nephew had spent the night and the boys had went out and rode bikes a couple times. They had asked me if I'd go on the paddle boat with them so that seemed like a good time to put some clothes on and do something constructive.

We enlisted Jessica's help in getting the boat over and in the water and then we were off.

Gee, doesn't look like he's having any fun does it?

Figuring it all out..

Trevor's hair is getting long again. I love it long. Just a tiny bit longer than it is here. 

That's the club house in the back. 

Think the palm trees are tall enough?

We took turns sitting in the little front seat.

It felt a tiny bit like Titanic. 

Well maybe not.

 "I see land ahead!"

On the way back the boys wanted to get some cattails. 

Success!

At this point we were getting a little bit excited to see my friend's dock that we launch off of.

Ahhhh

We were making a list of things we should take with us next time.
