Home Front" audio book tonight. I love most of Kristin Hannah's books. This story is about a woman in the National Guard who gets sent on a deployment. Things are rocky in her marriage before she leaves and in classic Mom style she does everything for everyone. When she leaves her husband is forced to take over and with that comes a new found respect for his wife.
I don't want to give too much away, but this is a good book. I only gave it two stars on Goodreads because I thought it was just "ok". It was sad. It was long. It was thought provoking. It was written well. But it isn't necessarily something I would tell all my friends that they needed to read (unlike Winter Garden, which I got EVERYONE I know to read)
