2/28/22

Good morning happy Monday and Trevor's 19th birthday! Can't believe my little squishy is 19 already. Probably won't be long before he flies the coop and leaves me. So sad but hey I'll have another craft room hahaha. No but in all seriousness he is a lot of fun except for when he leaves dishes and messes all over.

Yesterday I ended up going over to MIL's to give Scott a break. She really likes to give him a run for the money and things bother him that I can let roll off. Mostly because it's his mom and he hates seeing her like that, which is totally understandable. He went to the grocery store for her house and then came back and changed the oil in my car. I said it was like the old days when I'd sit and talk to him while he worked on his old pick up lol.

I worked on cleaning off this big file cabinet thing we decided to use for a dresser for his mom. I found another thing of pictures that are all my kids, mostly just Jess. Here she is with her broken leg when she was 3. We were at a party at the neighbor's house behind us and the kids were on a trampoline and large boy either jumped too close to her or fell on her.  So that was fun.

We moved this into the living room, it's actually a much nicer fit than the table that the TV was on before, more room to move around. We both hate those blue cardboard drawers so those are going next. They are just full of random crap. This house has so many cabinets and closets and they made all this extra carboard storage instead of just cleaning out the old crap. And yes, those are towels acting as black out curtains. They actually work really well haha. But one of these days I'll make it to Walmart to buy some new curtains for under the drapes. There is a café curtain under those that is see through from being in the sun so long (3 layers, drapes, towels and café curtain).  There was also a ton more of those plastic shelf things that Scott already disassembled. Crap and dust catchers everywhere.

After I left there I went to the store to get stuff for Trevor's birthday dinner. I was just going to order food from somewhere but that was making it even more difficult so once I decided to be home for the day, cooking it is. Trevor will do the bbq and Scott is going to cook ribs at his mom's house. We'll probably have to go get them since I doubt he's going to ask his brother to come hang out with his mom like I suggested. We talked about bringing her to our house too but she's just so out of it most of the time.  I did two loads of laundry at the house there before I left and the plumbing is all backed up again. Sorry Scott. So now he is dealing with that while he is there today too (better him than me though).

I've been doing horrible on my diet the last couple days. Need to get my shit together (tomorrow) because I was actually starting to see my chin line coming back.

After I got home I did a little bit more sewing on the coasters. All the fleece is ironed on everything. The batch on the right is sewn once (needs to be flipped and top stitched and then they will be done) and then the ones on the left still need to be sewn. Also fixed my friends mask for Dr Suess week (needed a new nose piece). It's ok I'm not busy sure I'll fix it ;) It did only take like 2 minutes so not too bad.

Once I'm done with my coffee I am going to shlep this stuff into my bedroom for now (except the big cruicut I already put in my sewing room).

This is all the stuff I got from the neighbor for free. All these books I will just try to sell, if they don't sell I'll put them out for free and then donate what is left. I just hate seeing this stuff go to the landfill when I know there are people out there that appreciate it.  I'll work on this when I'm done with my Easter coaster project.

Got the fuzzy box for one of my nieces and the track thing for Daniel.

I'm home "sick" today, really did need a mental health day anyways so I can relax while I get stuff ready for later. I have over 100 sick hours so need to use a few.

Ok off to browse online a bit then it's cake cooking and mac salad time.

2/27/22

Good morning happy Sunday! I can start over on 0 for days since I last cried. Pretty sure I have PMS too so that's not helping haha.

The dogs didn't wake me to go out last night but someone peed on my bed so that's not any better! I went out to wash my bedding and came back in to literally 37 messages from my son asking me to bring him his walled he forgot and 1 from my husband venting about his mom.

I might need more than coffee for today. Took the kid his walled, had to get gas, called the husband and talked for a couple hours for different things we might need to try for his mom so we don't all want to die. He's going to call in tomorrow so he can stay with her while I watch the baby in the afternoon. Jess has her ultrasound at the high risk place and her bf can come too finally. Tomorrow is also Trevor's birthday so we were trying to figure out a bday dinner. I think since I'll be home we can just cook something since that sounds easier than finding a good BBQ place that is open and close by.

Good God my dog keeps whining. He's already been outside on the lead for about an hour but he wouldn't stop barking at things.

So Friday night we had darts, I left my mother in laws at 6, Scott got there at 6:30. She was sleeping when I left so I left a note for her on her walker. When he got there at 6:30 she was getting ready to head to the neighbors because she had been "alone ALL night". Uh yeah it's been 1/2 an hour. Her poor brain is so confused. I told Scott we are just going to not be able to leave her at all anymore.

I got home with enough time to slap some make up on and put on some real pants. We actually won our dart game (Eric played for Scott) so that was fun. I hung out at the bar with my friend Dawn for a bit afterwards.

Saturday I got to sleep in a bit then showered and went over to my friend Traci's house. One of our neighbors died a few months ago and some other neighbors have been helping her husband clean stuff up. They took all this craft stuff over to my friend Traci's house.

I may have a full car now. Some to try and sell since no one else will probably want it and some for me and the kids. I came home with 3 Cricuts. one is the original like mine, then I found 2 others so I have to see which ones are the best and then probably either sell or give away the others. Jess wants one for sure so either she can have mine or one of those. (2 are newer than mine but I'm not sure what level they are).  So that was fun. Still need to unload my car. Probably have to just put the stuff in my room for now while I go through it. I'm going to put a bunch of books on the sewing sale group on FB and see if anyone wants them. If not I'll put them out for free then donate what is left.

When I got back I was washing Trevor's week of dishes (grr) and then Jess and the little one came over and vacuumed for me. That was so nice! After they left Melissa & Eric came over and we got Linner from the corner store then went and did our make up darts game. We lost but it was still fun. We came back to the house and they played a game and I did a bit of sewing. Later Jess brought me some TP since I was almost out and I asked her to pick me up some when she went to the store. Daniel was wearing his cute PJ's my friend bought him. She sends him a little outfit/shirt for all the holidays.

Got all these done now

Bunch more to go lol

I've been spending my morning sitting here being depressed. I need to go cleanout the car or sew so I'm trying to decide which one I want to do lol. I will go to the store later I think after Trevor is home and get stuff for tomorrow. Will be more fun for him to go with me.

Ok that's my last couple days. Some day I'll be less depressing ;)

2/25/22

Good morning happy Fri-YEAH! I'm so excited to sleep in tomorrow.
MIL was sleeping when I got here this morning so that is nice. I need to go tip toe in there and get my coffee in a sec.

Yesterday was pretty uneventful after the morning excitement. I took a nap after work lol. IDK why I'm so tired other than taking the dog out at 3am. Yes, had to do that again this morning even though I took him out at 11pm last night. What a jerk.

Dinner last night was SO yummy. The pork chops started off with bones but they all fell off while it was cooking. Next time I'll use boneless chops and there WILL be a next time haha. The potatoes are the foolproof scalloped potatoes I make all the time. The picture is making me hungry again. I've been using up the canned vegetables in MIL's pantry. That was the last of the peas. That is mostly what she ate for dinner. She keeps either biting herself somehow (puts up quite an act when she does it so I almost wonder if she's making it up) or her teeth fall out when she's eating.  I imagine this will become a bigger problem somewhere down the road.

After dinner I rushed home to play with my sewing machine lol. Finally got a few coasters all done. Definitely need to make a larger seam allowance on the next round,  These are the more scrappy ones that I put together last.

and the other sides

If nothing else they are fun to put one with an order as a free gift. Something to do and using up all those small Easter fabric pieces.

Trevor's birthday is Monday so we need to figure out what we are doing for that. He keeps saying he wants to BBQ and I'm like you'll have to be the one BBQ'ing since no one else will be here all day. So there is that. Need to get that figured out by Sunday lol. Hard to believe he is going to be 19 already.

We have darts tonight so I am not going to cook a big dinner. Might go pick up In & Out or something. The club has fish & chips for dinner tonight but it is always almost sold out by the time we get there and then it is an awkward maybe I don't have enough thing with the gal that cooks it. She is really effing weird sometimes.

Tomorrow we also have a darts make up game. I was hoping Scott could come since it is on a Saturday and less rushing around but we'll see how his mom is doing.

Well that's about all I've got for today so far! Hopefully today stays calm!

2/24/22

Good morning happy..looks at the date on the calendar...Thursday. Ah just today and tomorrow and then I get a break day. I'm so excited for the weekends now I feel bad about it.

This morning I was running a bit late. I slept good because I stayed up later and made the dogs go out before I went to bed. Rusty did make some noise at some point because he's having a hard time jumping on the bed (I have some steps but they are too much for small dogs for him to use) but eventually he made it up and quieted down. I'm going to have to figure out a small step for him or something.

Anyhow, when I woke up Trevor was in the shower so I have to wait for him to get done and then wait a bit longer for there to be hot water again, no skipping a shower for me today. Then I had to get everything ready and feed the animals and take out the dogs.

When I got in the car I was thinking to myself how amazing it was that I used to get three kids and I out the door before 7am every day for years. I really need to work on getting up earlier again.

So I pull up to my mother in law's and she's coming down the ramp with her walker to go to the neighbors to "get help" because I wasn't there when she woke up and got scared. Two and a half hours she was alone. Aye aye aye. I may have tiny bit snapped at her when she said she rudely that she wasn't supposed to be left alone. I was like I'm only a few minutes later than I was yesterday and no one is paying me to be here and put in a time card. Sheesh. I felt bad and apologized a few minutes later and we made up (she was mad at me for being late).

I told Scott she needs to go to the doctor so she can get a dementia diagnosis so we can work on getting more help. From what I've been finding out that it all starts with the doctor "ordering" some help for us.  I don't think it will be much or what we really need but maybe something is better than nothing. I'd push for her to come to live with us again but we have animals that I'm sure she'd complain about (and I'm not getting rid of those). I don't think she'd come anyways unless we forced her to. It is kind of nice to have some "away" time too. I don't have to do a whole lot for her but just being around someone in her state is mentally exhausting too.

In our emails today was something about putting in our telework order something or other on this work website. I'm like why are they even making us do this crap. Just tell us what we need to do and not make us fill out forms. The boss in charge said we'll go over how to fill it out next week. If we just have to go in two days a week Scott will probably just have to not work the two days that I work. Who knows! Learning and adapting as we go here.

I feel so stressed out this morning I want to eat all the food lol. This came up on my Lose it this morning. This thing is a little behind since I've actually lost 15 pounds and 20 since  I went to the dr and they called me Fat Kathy.

For dinner last night we had Taco Pizza, this stuff is so good but high calorie. I should have made a salad to go with it but didn't have any.

I brought my crock pot for tonight's dinner. I need to go get that going in a minute.

I finished this book I bought at Goodwill already. The Boston Girl. I thought it was pretty good. Probably could have left out the part where they made it like she was telling a story to her Granddaughter since the Granddaughter didn't have a voice in the book. I thought that part was kind of weird.

(via Goodreads) From the New York Times bestselling author of The Red Tent and Day After Night, comes an unforgettable coming-of-age novel about family ties and values, friendship and feminism told through the eyes of a young Jewish woman growing up in Boston in the early twentieth century.

Addie Baum is The Boston Girl, born in 1900 to immigrant parents who were unprepared for and suspicious of America and its effect on their three daughters. Growing up in the North End, then a teeming multicultural neighborhood, Addie's intelligence and curiosity take her to a world her parents can't imagine - a world of short skirts, movies, celebrity culture and new opportunities for women. Addie wants to finish high school and dreams of going to college. She wants a career and to find true love.

Eighty-five-year-old Addie tells the story of her life to her twenty-two-year-old granddaughter, who has asked her "How did you get to be the woman you are today?" She begins in 1915, the year she found her voice and made friends who would help shape the course of her life. From the one-room tenement apartment she shared with her parents and two sisters, to the library group for girls she joins at a neighborhood settlement house, to her first, disastrous love affair, Addie recalls her adventures with compassion for the naïve girl she was and a wicked sense of humor.

Written with the same attention to historical detail and emotional resonance that made Anita Diamant's previous novels bestsellers, The Boston Girl is a moving portrait of one woman’s complicated life in twentieth-century America, and a fascinating look at a generation of women finding their places in a changing world.

And last but not least I did another round of work on my Easter cozies and coasters after I got home yesterday. Almost time to start putting them together. The next step is ironing on the fleece.

OK now now that I've wrote a book I guess I'll go get the crock pot going ;)

2/23/22

Good morning, happy hump day! It's another long day at the mother in laws and it's only 8:51 lmao.  I am so tired from Rusty whining and pacing to go out over and over last night. I took him out at 1am and then he kept acting like he didn't even go out. I was like there is no way you have to go again. At one point he settled down for a bit but then I got up again with him at 5am. Just had to pee and poop nothing special. Ugh. Old dogs aren't for the weak apparently.

One of the people who has probably bought hundreds of masks from me for her family and friends sent a bag over for me to repair (my neighbor works with her). I used to repair for free but I decided a long time ago that was stupid so now I charge $3. It's only $5 for a new mask but people will still pay it. I threw these in my bag to take to my MIL's yesterday. I got them taken apart where they need the repairs. These are all probably from the first batch of masks I made (minus one) since they still had the pipe cleaner nose pieces and some had elastic that was cut in half from wider elastic back when there was a shortage of that.

Guts lol

Now I just have to put in the new nose pieces and elastic but I forgot about them when I got home last night.

I was so bored yesterday I told MIL I had to run an errand and went to Goodwill. It is only like 2 minutes away, the perks of being in town! Everything is planned out for me to go anywhere when I leave my house in the country. The Goodwill here recently adjusted their prices so they are actually affordable again. The books and movies are only .99. I got 2 books for myself and the movies are for the baby. They had a ton of Disney so I asked Jess if they were needing any. She said their Toy Story 2 had died so I got a replacement. I already started reading The Boston Girl, so far so good! The costume patterns were less than $5 for all. Only 4 are uncut though so I'll have to go through and make sure they have all their pieces. I should be able to make about $50 off them or more. I got those 2 pieces of fabric thrown in with the patterns so that was cool. The Santas are really cute.

I came back and read a little then made dinner. This is "The Best Keto Meatloaf Muffins" only mine is not Keto since I just used regular panko and ketchup. My friend is doing Keto and we have been losing about the same and I still can eat a regular cheeseburger and fries so I'll stay with my way lol.

After dinner I went home and worked on my little Easter Coasters some more. Only a small pile left to trim again. This set is getting pretty scrappy to make them be the right size. We'll see what I end up with! I should be in the put them all together point at least by this weekend.

I have 0 emails for work so far today. It is a ranking deadline so I will get busy next week and probably have to go into the office to do things. Not sure how we are going to work that other than either leaving his mom here by herself or Scott staying home from work. We shall see. Some day they will tell us when we have to go back to work again. Seems like it is coming soon but we have not got anything official. The girl who is acting as our boss right now is done at the end of the week and we don't know who is taking her place. Hopefully someone organized but there don't seem to be too many of those people.

2/22/22

Good morning, happy 2/22/22 from my sunny spot on the couch at my mother in laws. Totally dragged ass this morning getting up and out the door but there was this fantastic view when I was leaving my neighborhood. You can't really see it in the picture here but there is a large windmill straight in the middle. We can't always see the mountain range there.

All the almond trees are in bloom so that makes it a pretty drive down our long road to town.

Since yesterday was a holiday and I have finished all the yo-yo's I was working on I was a bit stir crazy. I decided to tackle the front disgusting doors. 50ish years of people smoking in this house. I'm assuming they painted at least once in those 50 years but ew.

Who knew they were white lol. They need to be painted now but that will happen some day in the far future probably. The walls are disgusting but I have to cut off the cleaning somewhere or else I'll just be scrubbing forever.

It was such a nice day outside I went on to clean the outside of the doors. There were some weird like grease finger prints on it. I think it is stained wood so I might get some scratch cover and shine it up some more. Also cleaned off all the leaves and dirt for the front walkway.

When I was done I was taking stuff inside and mil had her big jacket on and was coming outside. She wanted to sit outside so the neighbors knew she still lived there lol. So she sat on the park bench that is just out of the picture for a bit. The only neighbors that were out were the ones across sideways. They have a fantastic rock yard with succulents. I need to take a picture of it.

After cleaning I laid on the couch and took a nap for like an hour but didn't even get up til 4 hours later.
I made us turkey and spinach manicotti for dinner (and canned peas out of MIL's cupboard) . I gave MIL 1/2 of one without much sauce and about 1/4 a cup of peas with butter and she ate it without complaining ;)

After dinner I went home! I worked on my Easter coasters some more. One more round around the scrappy ones to get them built up to the right size. I got them ironed now have to go through and measure and trim them up again.

MIL was sleeping when I got here this morning but now I hear her rustling around. I'm in a staff meeting (lol) so as soon as that is done I can go see what she is up to. I'm starving so need to find something to eat for breakfast too. I am caught up on work until someone sends me an email of something to do.

I brought some masks that someone needs to me to fix up for them to unpick the seams on (I think they are mostly to replace the nose pieces) to have something to do while I'm here. That won't take long though.

Ok meeting over! Off to refill my coffee cup and find some breakfast, have a great day everyone!

2/21/22

Good morning happy no work Monday! Sadly I still had to put clothes on and go to town. Reporting in from my mother in law's kitchen table. I'm already ready for a drink. I just spent like 10 minutes trying to find her lower teeth. She always puts them in her pocket, wrapped in a tissue. She kept saying she wanted an oatmeal cookie so I get her one and then she can't find her teeth. She has no pockets in her sweater. I made her stand up and looked all over her bed (she has a bunch of pillows and on one end, clothes and misc crap on the other. No teeth. Look in her drawers next to her bed, nothing, nothing under it. I get a couple paper towels and look through the disgusting garbage and I don't think they are in there but honestly I'm not looking super thorough since there are used depends in there. I'm like I'm going to barf if I have to dump this out to look more. I'm like what are you wearing under that sweater? Just an undershirt? Then she pulls it down and "plop" her teeth fall on the floor. Jesus. I need a drink and it's not even 10am.

When I got here this morning she was in the office. I was like are you looking for something? (We started cleaning the room out but didn't finish, mostly took out clothes she didn't want when I asked her and then shredded old papers and condensed her super unorganized crap). Nope, she says, just looking to see what's left.  Then she says she pushed some buttons in the kitchen and messed things up. Apparently she was trying to warm up her coffee but couldn't figure out how to get the microwave to work. She then says she can't see any more and I'm like you used to wear glasses? She says she doesn't think that would help. Hmm I'm thinking it might lol.

Now she's playing with a bag that has electric razors in it. Sigh.

ANYHOW, I had a fabulous 2 days at home (mostly). I was trying to decide what project to do next and decided to pull out my Easter fabrics, which were mostly just small pieces and make some cozies and coasters. I was having fun sewing the small scrap pieces together. Hopefully it's not too late when I get home so I can work on them some more. This is how I left them, hopefully Tina doesn't do a burn out on them and throw them on the floor. She was getting into all kinds of mischief yesterday!

Ok off to mix a cocktail I mean get some more coffee. Wish me luck for the rest of the day..

2/20/22

Good morning happy Sunday!
Lucy made sure I stayed in bed a little longer this morning. She's not mad about it ;)
No one had to poop in the middle of the night so I actually got to sleep.

Yesterday I finally got back to my paper project and even got a few packages listed on my paper Etsy site.

I just need to take pictures of these and add them to my draft listings and I'll be done. Woohoo. This has taken me forever to get finished up since I have hardly been home.

I am thinking about listing my yo-yo's on my crafting Etsy site too. I wonder if they will sell. If nothing sells than I at least have them nice and organized for when I want to use that color for a project (I used a bunch of the pinks and reds for my Valentine's Day cards). If nothing else we'll be ORGANIZED. I love being organized. There is a gal who blogs about quilting and her site is In Color Order. what a great name. I wish I would have thought about that earlier haha.

Yesterday I wanted to stay home all day but then Scott was like hey I'm cooking some burgers if you want to come over. Ugh ok, twist my arm. It's almost like he likes me again ;) I always joke that we are like that part in Fried Green Tomatoes when she makes him his dinner and he gets his plate and just goes and sits in front of the tv. Yep, that's usually how it goes. Nice to actually be appreciated a bit again.

Ok my coffee is done brewing! Time to pour a cup and read some blogs. It is nice and sunny outside so we'll have a nice view out of the sewing room window for the day :)

2/19/22

Good morning happy Saturday! Reporting in from my kitchen table. Ahhhh so nice to be home!  I've got my bedding in the washer, cat box cleaned, cats got breakfast, dogs went outside for their business and started washing all the wonderful dirty dishes my son left in the kitchen.

This is my favorite spot at Scott's mom's house now. Probably should clean the window now that I see how dirty it is. This spot gets sun for probably 4 hours. It feels wonderful!

Yesterday was pretty much uneventful at mil's house other than when I went in and she was sitting there eating peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon. At lease we know she won't starve as long as she can make it to the pantry lol. I was glad she didn't have the jar I bought for myself lol. Might have to push that to the back on the top shelf ;)

I left there at 6 hoping she wouldn't get into any mischief until Scott got home. I had just enough time to put jeans on and put some make up on (sadly not to do my hair) before darts. Eric subbed for Scott again and he won one game and Melissa won one and then our team won the last game that we all play together (501) so that was fun.

We hung out until I needed to go to Jessica's to watch the baby for like an hour. I got there and no one was there. Daniel said they got stuck waiting for the train (there is one in Manteca that takes FOREVER sometimes and blocks like all the roads out). The baby was sleeping so he put him down and then Jess came home a little early so I didn't even stay. I did however get her left over club sandwich she brought home, it was delicious.

When I got back to the house the boys were outside playing with the golf cart and Melissa was looking through the pictures I brought home. They stayed til 11:30 then I went to bed and crashed out.

I thought this was funny lol. Bullying by being like why did you leave your laundry right next to the dirty clothes hamper and stuff like that ;)

I sent my brother a text that I wasn't going to make it to the birthday party today. I just need to stay home, I'm so mentally exhausted and need to recharge! After I get the dishes done I'm going to work on my little paper project some more to get that finished up soon hopefully. It is taking me forever since I'm hardly ever home. I can't sew until I get that cleaned up lol. Oh also have to pack up three Etsy sales to get in the mail too. Need to hurry that one up first I guess!

Hope you have a relaxing weekend, ewe all need one!

2/18/22

Good morning! Happy FriYEAH for a 3 day weekend woohoo.
I am so looking forward to staying home tomorrow. Hopefully it can happen. Although I'll probably make myself go to my niece's birthday party tomorrow.

Got all these yoyos done yesterday while working and waiting for emails of stuff to do. I'm going to have to go into the office soon and print stuff out again. I have a lot of applications to put in folders and stuff. One of these days.

Jess came over with a little leaf blower and blew most of the leaves off the patio yesterday. MIL came out with her walked to supervise and check on the plants. Little Daniel did some laps around the shop and played with rocks :)

I made dinner early and went to Jessica's house to babysit at 5:30ish. Scott got to his mom's an hour later and she was in the living room trying to figure out where we hid her pills or something. She likes to give Scott a run for his money lol. What's funny is she watched me take her pill out of the box yesterday (they are on the top of the fridge where she can't reach) but she had already forgot about it. Hence why we took them away.  I know it must suck to not be in control of your own shit. I'd hope that if my kids took over I'd realize it was because I was effing up.

This cutie is so easy to watch at his house, he just runs around and plays with all his toys and watches his movies.

I gave him a hot dog with some ketchup on his tray and he was like wtf lady. He ate some though. Sad thing is there is no dog to clean up what he throws on the floor although the cat did check it out.

Washed some dishes and cleaned up a bit while I was there. We should all just rotate houses and clean for each other, it's so much more fun to clean someone else's house lol.

His mom got off a little early so I went to the bar and met up with my friend Cassi who is home for the weekend (she's been down south helping her Marine daughter out with babysitting).  I had one drink and went home and went to bed. Of course Rusty wanted to go out at 1am so after I got in for that I checked my phone and Scott had messaged me so we had a text convo from like 1-1:30am.

Today's plan is to go home for darts (Cassi is going to sub for Scott since we can't trust his mom alone now) and then probably babysit for like an hour for Jess to cover their both working times. She gets off at 10 and her bf goes in at 10.

Working on my emails I saved from yesterday. Probably be done with those in a few minutes. Work is so boring right now. My boss got extended on her job she is filling in for so who knows when she is going to come back to our office, and the gal that is our acting right now is very much a low chill procrastinator.

Hope you all have a great day!

2/17/22

Good morning happy Thursday! I made it to MIL's house before my alarm even went off to get up (I need to actually make that for earlier now anyways since I can't just log on to work in 5 minutes lol).

Yesterday was a busy day. I found this big box of picture in their envelopes from being developed and 90% of them are my kids. How fun!

Here is one of the ones not of my kids but of my husband. His parents look so cute. His mom was 40 when she had him and I think his dad was 42.

There are several really nice pictures of his sister Suzie who just passed away. Here she is with baby Melissa & Jess (5 years old)

With Scott, I can see Trevor in this picture of his dad. I'm not sure where this is at, I THINK it might be a wedding for Scott's friend. His parents hardly ever went out to eat anywhere.

Baby Melissa with Grandpa. I'm pretty sure we had taken away the bottles but Grandma had one at her house... lol

She broke her leg when she was tiny by standing on the back of the stroller. It tipped back and the basket got her in the leg :(

with Scott's mom. There are tons more, I was crying looking through them I'm such a sap lately.

Jess came over in the late afternoon and cleaned the bathroom. I was helping and went to clean the shelves behind the toilet and had streaks going down he wall so ended up cleaning a portion. This my friends is why you should not smoke. And definitely don't smoke in the house. Going to have to finish that wall at some point (and the rest of them). Ick. I took down the shower curtain since no one takes an actual shower in there (there is only a handheld shower head way too low). Not sure if I'll put the lace one back up or not, I have it by the washer at the moment. It's gives more space for bathing without it.

After Jess got done cleaning that she vacuumed and took one of those duster things to the rest of the house. I wish I had that much energy lol. I still have dust particles in my nose, so gross. Eventually things will be clean here I guess!

Funny story yesterday. This chair popped up on our neighborhood site for free (It's a Lazy Boy) and I was like oh that's a nicer chair than those huge recliners we have. I told Trevor to go get it. I guess right after that Jess asked if she could use Trevor's truck to go get it for herself. So funny. So now it is Jessica's. Darling little model ;)

Today Scott is going to try and get home earlier around 6 so I can go watch the little one while Jessica goes to work. She's been having Daniel's sisters watch him but we need to spread it around so we don't wear them out haha. They are still in high school and don't have their own cars/driver's license to be able to drive out either so it's 2 more trips to town for them to babysit. Jess mostly just works 3 days around the weekend. I haven't seen him in like two weeks so looking forward to some snuggles :)

Well that's it for this morning. Only one work email so far, I think I'm up before everyone else ;)
