Every day on the way to work and on the way home I drive pass this little park that is next to the river. It's mostly just used by fishermen. The park used to be a mess, just a bunch of weeds and stuff. Then about two years ago when we had so much rainfall it flooded.
After the water receded they started cleaning it up. First they went through and pulled out a ton of trees and pruned the ones that remained around the edges. They spent a lot of time weeding and discing and then putting in an irrigation system. They planted some grass and it's been starting to look really nice.
Today I drove by and someone had taken their car or truck out there and spun donuts all over it.
It's things like that that just piss me off. All that time and money to make something look nice and for people to have a nice little place to go have a picnic with their family or whatever and some ASSHOLE whose parents didn't teach them any morals goes out there and makes a mess out of it.
And for what?
We are failing ourselves our children and our future generations if we don't teach our kids what is right from wrong. I'm scared to see what things are going to look like in the years to come. The older I get the more it seems that people just don't care.
