Good morning! It's my 50th birthday today! I'm officially old. Although I am getting closer to the next goal in life, the senior citizen discount. Seems so crazy that 55 is considered a senior citizen when we are expected to work another 12 plus years after that to retire.

My trucks & pups rag quilt turned out great! AND it's already sold. This was rag quilt #12

Little Nate had his first doctor's appointment yesterday. He is doing well but has a blocked tear duct. Hopefully that gets cleared up for him quick. 

The kids sitting next to each other. Awww so cute! Lasted like 30 seconds haha. Trevor was cleaning his room and Daniel spotted his puppy. He played with it for the rest of the day. When he forgot about it for a minute I told Trevor quick hide it so he doesn't cry to take it home lol.

He had brought Sully with him but he went for a swim in the dog bowl. He's still soaked lol. Should probably go throw him in the dryer.

The kids were here until after 7 so I was beat when they went home ;)

I am in between projects so I worked on some scrap clean up. Mostly I want to empty the little box I had these in lol. I still have a bunch more to do. They are all cut just putting them into the rolls I like to make.

Today's plan? Well maybe a trip to Joanns. Scott was going to make breakfast but we have no eggs and he came back from the little store with no eggs either. If it was me I would have just drove to town and got them but he's back in the recliner. Might be making my own breakfast lol.

I want to go get the backing fabrics for these quilts I have in the works so I can get them done this weekend. Scott is going to Texas bright and early in the morning to have his guys weekend for the super bowl. I don't know why he thought I'd want to drive him to the airport at like 4 am the day after my 50th birthday. We'll see if that happens or if he'll just drive himself lol.

So if Trevor actually goes to work this weekend I might have some time alone in the house. Haven't had that in forever it feels like. 

Tonight we are going to get Chinese food for dinner at home so that Jess can come with the littles. It's way too hard to go out with so many people now too. My parents and my nephew are coming over too.
