I'll miss you Food Network

Well today was a fun day. I turned off my alarm clock because I just knew I was awake enough to get up. I woke up 15 minutes later, still needed to shower and be out the door in 30 minutes. Amazingly we didn't miss any buses! I'm glad that high school bus always comes a few minutes late.

Trevor's bus however, now that they've changed their bus times to come at 7:08 and they wanted us there 10 minutes early=6:58, now comes at 7:15, which just so happens to be the time it was SUPPOSED to come at before, but would be leaving at 7:08. Funny how they worked that.

So that leaves oh, 17 minutes of children running around like wild banshees at the bus stop.

I've decided I am in no way ever to get a job that involves children for more than 10 minutes. That's about my breaking point. Yes, it's short.

Oh and

Dear Mom's,

Please, oh please if you are riding a bike to the bus stop put on some kind of clothing. Pajama SHORTS are not clothing appropriate for bike riding to the bus stop with your small children. Or anywhere.  And I know it's really tough, but can you NOT SMOKE for you know the 10-15 minutes that you are at the bus stop? I know it's a really long time but I have faith in you, you can do it!!

After school I only had to pick up Melissa from the bus stop. I took her home and had a bit of time before I had to pick up Trevor. He stayed after school for band and soccer. Yes soccer.

The first time he stayed after I thought it was done at 4 so I was there on time and sat in the car forever and then sat on a bench by where they were playing and they were done around 4:30.

So this time I went to be there at 4:30. I sat in the car forever and went to the field at 5:00 and they were just finishing up.

I'll figure it out eventually I guess!

The coach handed out a paper with times for games. GAMES! Next week. I hope my son knows which way to kick the ball, he's never played soccer before. The games are at 3:30 at various places, with no transportation provided so that is going to be fun. There goes my free time sitting on the couch watching the Food Network.

Sadness.

Wows a that's a lot of games!
Lol at the bus stop attire comments. I pass some seriously scary parents at the stops in my neighborhood-I always wonder what chance the kids have when their parents dress and act like that in public- ha ha!
