Good morning happy Thursday!

I woke up this morning to Tina having went shopping for fabric. She took one thing of yellow fabric out into the living room. She got it off the top shelf of the book case lol. She's such a weirdo. She knocked that white fabric bin off too. 

She says what? I'm not bad..

Yesterday I got a million coasters cut out. Some are to be pieced. Glad to use up this fabric. It's not even all I had!  I'm going to have to go to Joanns and get some more fusible fleece. I also need to pick up something for the darts potluck tonight so I'll probably run to Costco after work since they are in the same shopping center. 

I went to the meeting for the cell phone tower last night. They had copies of the contracts that were signed. The board doesn't think they did anything wrong leasing out part of our property without telling the whole membership. They think that if you didn't go to the monthly board meetings it is your fault you didn't know. As if! I don't think it's a good idea at all and we aren't even getting paid enough to make it worth the risks. Although they say there are no risks but that's what they are being fed from the cell tower people. Of course they are going to say that.  We'll see if someone gets it to stop happening. One lady said she's a notary and the way the dates were signed on the contract weren't legal. I hope she's right and it stops it from going forward for a bit. We shall see!

I've been watching Secrets of Playboy on Hulu. That Hefner sure was a sick puppy.

Good morning happy hump day! Today at 6 my neighborhood is having a town hall meeting. Apparently the BOD signed a contract to allow a cell phone tower to be placed inside the club. We all found out about it when the county sent something out. People are like well you should have attended the board meetings and you would have known about it. Everyone is like uh maybe we should have had the chance to vote on it? I'm pretty sure it goes against our rules to lease the property out like that but they have supposedly signed a contract already. The meeting should be interesting. I wonder if they can get them to back out of it. I'd rather not have that so close to my (and my kids/grandkids) house.

In other news I ran out of keychain clips yesterday so this is what I got finished. I ordered some more so I'll circle back to the unfinished ones since they are close to being done.

I pulled out some fall/Halloween fabrics to cut up for coasters. I have so many of these fabrics. I think I collected a lot when making masks and then in other people's stuff I ended up with. Starting with the smaller pieces cutting them out. 

Speaking of masks did you see they are being required some places again? New York mostly. Maybe I won't cut the unsold ones I have up quite yet. Might bring them back out for my October craft show. Last time the mess started in NY and made its way here so I imagine that will happen again if we really are having another wave. Lets pray it goes away quick.

We got an email that we get off 2 hours early on Friday for the holiday weekend. That is always so nice when they do that.

Good morning happy Tuesday. I'm feeling really tired today so it might be a napping Tuesday. Almost done with my cup of coffee we'll see if that helps haha.

Here is bathroom attendant Lucy. I cannot go to the bathroom without Snookie & Simon and occasionally a cat lol. Heaven forbid I close the door with them on the wrong side.

This morning started with the battery in my mouse for my work computer dying and my personal laptop not wanting to be charging. Trevor had a battery and the laptop finally got enough juice so we're doing good now. 

We made it almost all day yesterday without turning the AC on. It's a miracle. Still got too hot in the evening so we closed the windows and turned it on.

In between the 2 or so work emails I had all day yesterday I ended up working on putting patterns and a few books on eBay. I had picked up a pack at a thrift store that had some older doll patterns in it. One was missing like 1/2 the pieces so didn't make it on but the others are ok.

I ended up going through a box I have sitting here and pulled out all the uncut and listed them.

Some aren't worth much but if they sell they will move out lol. I did list a few I was saving but figured if I get around to wanting to use them before they were sold it will probably be a miracle anyways haha.

Today I think I will work on those keychains. My friends are asking for some fall mug rugs/coasters so after the keychains that will be the next project. 

Isn't it crazy that August is almost over? I swear the months go by faster and faster now. In 5 more months we will have another grandbaby here! I told Scott I think I will need a Grandma van lol. It can double as a craft show van :)

Good morning happy Monday! I don't feel all that happy today though. I feel kind of grouchy. I'm sure that is because Aunt Flo should be arriving shortly. Listening to a staff meeting for one of the offices. It sounds like bad tin can background music. Sadly I don't care about any of it. That's what they've turned me into.

Yesterday the kids came to play! Papa getting decorated lol. I swear these necklaces I had from parties is like their favorite toy. I have to keep an eye on them though so they don't wrap themselves up in them. Also Scott made it all day without taking a nap haha.

I went to bed right after they left. I was super tired for some reason.

Then we have some sports, I picked out ones that had coordinating colors so it would be more assembly line with linings and such.

I had a bunch more Spiderman I have in coin purse form but not finished that I put back in my sew later box since there was going to be a lot of them.

No plans for today other than stressing about all these modification things they keep sending me for work. I really don't know what I'm doing but now I'm involved in the process. It goes through at least 2 more people so if it's wrong in the end it's not my fault haha. Just look dumb along the way. 😕 

I need to clean off my front porch. I should make that a to do for today. It's a disaster. Other than that I am going to start working on the keychains that match some of these fabrics. I think I will probably toss some or take them apart from what I had done previously since I think they are a bit too scrappy. 

Oh also sad this morning that one of my long time online friends passed away this morning. She had breast cancer, mastectomy's, chemo forever and it just took over. She still has two kids in high school and a bunch of grandchildren. Just so sad. I think she was probably in her mid 50's.

Good morning happy Sunday! It is quiet here at the moment. Trevor is still asleep and Simon already did her zoomies haha. I have 2 hours left of messing around before it's time to clean up!

Yesterday Scott and I picked up Daniel and took him to my brother's for little Joe's party. He is 5 already. Time goes quick and we lost 2 years because of Covid it feels like.

The little girl next to him has been at a few parties and she is just the cutest.

Daniel found this Buzz and dinosaur in the toy box there and played with it the entire time. Except when he was in the pool and then he even got out to go play with it more.

My brother has a great set up with all the kids stuff. They have 3 5 and under now and then Adrian will be 13 next month.

My mom hid Buzz right before we left so he wouldn't try to take it home and OMG he was so sad. He cried all the way home except for when he passed out asleep for a few minutes. Then he cried when he woke up. I may have just ordered him one like the one he was playing with. It's a little different than the one he has at home lol. Hey I can spoil him if I want ;)

After we got home I got my zip bags sewn up. I was really tired of sewing them after a bit but I was watching a good documentary. It was called Stolen Youth (on Hulu). About this guy who ended up making a little cult like with a bunch of college students. It's crazy how one person can eff up so many people. What a sicko!

Now to iron all the bags but I have to kick Tina off my ironing mat. I wish I had enough room to put a full sized ironing board in here now. I had one and ended up tossing it since it was too clunky. It was an old one too so maybe a newer one wouldn't be so bad.

Good morning happy Saturday! Today is my nephew Joey's birthday party so we are going to that. It's at noon so not much time to play around this morning. Especially since I slept in a bit haha. Scott actually showed up late last night and fell asleep on the couch (Trevor was hogging his chair). He went back early this morning to his mom. I am going to take Daniel with me to the party. I feel bad not taking Rosie too but Jess said she won't know haha. I need a grandma van so I can load everyone up.

Yesterday work was stupid as usual and in between emails I got my zippers sewn in on my bags. Everything is pinned now and ready to go around the edges. The next post they will probably be done.

Simon. She's so funny.

Hello happy almost Friday! Back at work today and thanks to having someone "cover" for me while I was gone I hardly had anything to do. 100 emails but most of them were taken care of.

Monday my mom and I went on our little trip to Reno. We stopped in the Sacramento area to do some thrifting along the way. That was fun but the main place I wanted to go was closed on Mondays. That's annoying lol. All my stuff is still in the car so I'll have to share later.

We stopped in Auburn to go to the bathroom and then I took her to this store. I knew she would love it and she wanted to go back again on the way home so we did. I told her we'd have to go back when Halloween is over to see what else they have. 

My mom's been doing a 90 day diet thing since she's got a few things going on. No carbs and no dairy. That kind of limits how much stuff you can eat out. All the way to Reno she talked about her diet stuff and then we get there and she puts out this spread for me. I ate a little bit of it ;) More after I got home than while I was there.

For dinner we went to Uno Mas in the casino (Grand Sierra Resort). I got the street tacos and she got a taco salad. She was good and only ate a tiny bit of the shell and I was good and didn't eat the entire basket of chips. 

After dinner she got a players card and then we played some slots. She usually will not play the slots so that was fun. She ended up winning like $100! She cashed out at like $80. I had $10 in promo money and then another $47 something in some other free money to play with. I played on that while we were there and came home with like $50 so they paid me to play. 

Breakfast at the casino café! She got an egg white omelet and subbed the hash browns and toast for fruit. Look how big a bowl of fruit they gave her lol.

Pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage for me. Pretend I remembered to rotate my picture.

After that we went to some thrift stores and had Wendy's salads for lunch. We went to Dollar Tree and Joann's too since they were in the same shopping area as one of the thrift stores. Most of the stores were really hot so that was icky. We hit a couple antique stores too. The last one we went there was like 3 people working and they kept watching us like we were going to steal something. Like the place is so small if we needed help you'd hear us if we asked. I had a tiny cross body purse on and my moms wasn't much bigger so we weren't going to be stealing much if we were those type of people.

After shopping we came back to the room and hung out for awhile and then eventually went down for dinner at the sports bar place in the casino. I've never tried that one. Mom's choices were limited so she ended up getting a house salad and some shrimp. She said it wasn't very exiting. 

I sent this to my dad and told him we were getting the Crabfest and she said how about a chicken leg instead haha.

The next day we got up and had breakfast at the cafe again but apparently I forgot to take pictures. I got a scramble thing that wasn't that exciting. Mom got ham and eggs.

After that we went to the last antique store that we didn't have time for the day before and the big fabric store I like. I didn't find much I could live without so got out of there for $12.

On the way home we stopped at The Front Porch store again and then I was starving. I found this play called Max's and it was really good. I got a something something roasted chicken, mashed potatoes. The carrots weren't my favorite but the rest was great!

Mom got a cobb salad. She did good the whole time we were gone and mostly stayed on her plan.

This morning I pulled the patterns I sold the last few days. This little pile sold for $160!! I've been selling a bunch of the higher priced vintage patterns the last couple weeks so that is really nice. 

This little buddy came over while her mom took her brother swimming at Great Wolf. She fell asleep at like 1:30 and is STILL sleeping. 

She passed out while we were watching Lilo & Stitch. 

Probably going to go pick something up for dinner since I thought it was the dart potluck/awards tonight but that isn't until next week! I was going to pick something up for that after work. I went to see what time that was at and then saw it's the 31st.

Well Trevor is blending ice that should wake the baby up, what the heck!

My zippers came to go on my bags I'm working on so I'll probably work on those tonight. I saw some cute little coin purses in our travels this week with squared edges but they boxed them just a tiny bit. I might make some like that too. They were made with scrap strips and cute!
