Good morning happy Sunday!
I woke up thinking wow I really slept in! Then I remembered the time change. Tomorrow morning is going to suck. I am so not a morning person.
Yesterday I worked on the sea turtle quilt all day. It is all ready to lay out and then sew the blocks together. I can't wait to see what it looks like laid out. I love all the colors.
I did take a dinner break. Scott and I went to Sizzler after Trevor went to work. We both got the salad bar. I had to laugh while we were there. There was an older couple and they were both reading a book. Ahh the days before cell phones when people still knew how to be together but not haha.
I mostly had salad, a little cup of clam chowder, then made nachos until the meat kind of grossed me out and 2 chicken wings. Had to have some ice cream for dessert too of course ;)
I sold the ballerina quilt 2 hours after I posted it on FB yesterday to the neighbor who lives on the corner. That was fun!
Today I will probably stay home all day unless I decide to go to the meeting down at the club house but at the moment I don't think I will go.
Scott and Trevor got the grass mowed down yesterday but of course there was no bagging it while mowing so there is grass everywhere. They unhooked Simon's cable so I ended up wrapping it around the tree like 20 times so she could play outside for a bit until Trevor gets up and fixes it up again. It's way too nice to make her stay inside.
Already thinking of what my next quilt will be. Someone said I should do sunflowers but I'm not sure how much sunflower fabric I have.
Ok off to finish my morning routine and then get to sewing!
