10 more days!

Ten more magically boring whining days until school starts!! For the first time in 14years I will have NO KIDS at home!! Brings new meaning to the song "the most wonderful time of the year!" I just love when Staples starts running those commercials. Today we got that magic envelope in the mail with the back to school info we will need for the elementry school. Bring it on!!

Trevor is walking around the house whining. Once again we are out of milk. And water. We have well water and it is NAS-TY! I will go get some in the morning. Seriously though the kids have went through a whole gallon of milk every freaking day. Who drinks that much milk? I made myself coffee with the well water just so I could have something to drink. Just add a bucket of sugar and you can hardly even taste the minerals...

In other news, I went and helped my friend Sarah pack up her kitchen today. Her big ass moving truck is coming tomorrow morning at 8 am. That reminds me I should email her and remind her to make sure and take pics. Hopefully she won't be running around wrapped in bubble wrap and have packing tape hanging off her head. She's just a wee bit stressed out!!

The funniest thing happened yesterday while I was scrapbooking. Trevor climbed up on a kitchen chair, the one that is kind of in the corner in the kitchen. He is standing on the chair and lets out a BLOOD CURDLING SCREAM. You know the one? The one that makes the dog whine, mom scream and siblings come running??? The one that only Dad's can't hear?? Yeah that one. OMG I am still laughing my ass off just thinking about it, which I'm sure has scarred him for life. Anyhow, so he's standing on the chair, facing the corner and this poor daddy long legged spider is like EYE LEVEL with him.

:::INSERT SCREAM HERE::::

Big sister Jessica rescued him by whacking the poor defensless daddy long leg with her flip flop and I proceeded to laugh for at least half an hour. I'm sure when he's a teenager he'll remind me about the time he "ALMOST DIED" when this huge terantula attacked him and his mom LAUGHED!

hahahaPin It

I seem to be infested with spiders at my house this summer, even more so than in the winter! And the webs are everywhere! I swear Spiderman has been over to my house.

I can only imagine how quickly you want the next 10 days to pass by - I hope they are here before you know it and your first day of freedom will be spent doing exactly what you want to do!

As for the milk, I have discovered the one gallon milk that comes in a 2 pack at Costco for less than $5, which to me is a great deal as Ned gets through a lot too.

What fun is there in life if you can't laugh and traumatize your kids. I know my kidlets will be in therapy forever with the stuff I've done to them.

Daddy longlegs can be creepy, but I would've paid to see him screaming like a girl.
